Gratten Perea, 31, is a photographer and lens-based artist in New York, NY. Influenced heavily by artists such as René Magritte, Cindy Sherman, and Gregory Crewdson, Gratten creates images to transport the viewer’s mindset into the scene and call into question one’s sense of self and significance in the world.
Gratten holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Southern Utah University, UT, and is a student of the Master of Fine Arts in Photography at the School of Visual Arts, NY.
